The Vanilla Sandalwood candle you see before you is a combination of smelling so many vanillas, so many sandalwoods. I wanted to re-do my old vanilla bean but not just some fly-by-night vanilla. Then, I am sitting around smelling sandalwood to make something like that--and it happened.
I always say "I love this candle!" or "My new favorite!", but the truth is something feels intimate here. I have been keeping it by my bedside for months now and when I light it I just feel like I am home. Safe. Time to let it all go.
